Geraldine Ysselstein has over 30 years of experience as a working artist. She received her training at Calvin College (Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA) in Fine Arts and French and then continued her education at the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada) in Fine Arts. She received her Ontario Certificate of Teaching and taught for several years in elementary and high schools. Geraldine moved to Prince Edward Island in 2008 and has been involved with Seniors College in Charlottetown as an instructor. Many of Geraldine’s paintings have been displayed at Ellen’s Creek Gallery in Charlottetown, Dunes Gallery in Brackley and Village Pottery in New London.
Pieter Ijsselstein grew up on a dairy farm in south western Ontario and obtained a B.A. degree from Calvin College and a M.Sc degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph. For several years he worked as an agriculturalist and community development worker in Bangladesh with his family. He also had a 16 year career in real estate in Ontario. Following his arrival in Prince Edward Island with Geraldine, he obtained an MBA degree from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2012.
