Fiona - Call for Entry

  • PEI Crafts Council and Centre for Craft 98 Water Street Charlottetown, PE, C1A 1A6 Canada (map)

This exhibit will ask PEI crafters to explore the natural flora and fauna of their location and notice how Fiona has changed their landscape.  Using debris from their area we are asking people to incorporate it (if possible) into a piece of craft.

Craft items will be juried by a curator appointed by the PEICC for artistic integrity, originality, inclusion of debris if possible and level of technique for their medium.  Production items will not be considered for this exhibit. All craft items submitted must be new works of craft and not exhibited previously.  The call for entry for this exhibit will be open to all craft makers from the island.  CARFAC fees will be paid to exhibitors.

The PEI Crafts Council welcomes you to share in this exploration of loss and change through an exhibition acknowledging the effects of Fiona on our lives.

Craft artists from across PEI are invited to share their work in alignment with the theme of “Fiona”.

We are open to your interpretation of this theme, however it relates to the work you’ve done, and continue to do.
