Intro to Relief Printmaking Workshop with Evan Furness
Evan Furness is an interdisciplinary artist living in rural Prince Edward Island. Much of his work explores the banal and uncanny aspects of the everyday through the use of personal narrative, site specific explorations and live performance. Evan received his BFA from Mount Allison University in 2018 where studied printmaking and sculpture while developing his interests in other mediums including bookmaking, video, printmaking and installation. He has exhibited across the Maritimes, including with Galerie Sans Nom (Moncton, NB), Flourish Festival (Fredericton, NB) and most recently at The Gallery @ The Guild (Charlottetown, PE). Evan currently works as the visual arts educator at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery.
